Evey-time you think that this was the best performance by Nawazuddin Siddique, he surprises you by his next film, just as he did in this one. Varun Dhavan also matches him quite well. And apart from these two there are cameos from other bunch of actors (Huma Querishi, Vinay Pathak, Radhika Apte and Divya Datta) who seem to be suited so well for those roles. The editing is perfect and the director keeps you at the edge of your seats till the very end. And last but not the least , the humor. Its amazing how he uses subtle humor throughout the movie without deviating from the main theme!
Kudos to Sriram Raghvan for this masterpiece. Johny Gaddar was good (and we have forgotten Agent Vinod), but this is a different level altogether.
P.S. Dont miss the beginning and the end. The climax is something which you would never expect.
P. P.S. In the past two months there have already two films with Badlapur in the title (The other one being Badlapur Boys). So Sriram Raghvan if you are coming up with a sequel please think about Ambernath as well!
